Question 03
Can a restriction imposed by the French authorities be covered?
Yes, under certain conditions. The contract has been structured so as to be able to respond to certain situations in which an exhibitor would find itself prevented from participating in the show following an administrative decision, a governmental restriction, an instruction issued by the French authorities, or a measure affecting the participation of exhibitors of certain nationalities. Each situation is analysed individually in light of the exact circumstances, the administrative decisions concerned, and the applicable contractual terms. General decisions to cancel the show remain subject to the specific mechanisms put in place around the Organiser's framework and the show's insurance arrangements.

Question 04
Is cancellation of the show by the Organiser covered?
The consequences of a general cancellation of the show decided by the Organiser or the public authorities do not fall directly within the scope of the present "Exhibitor Cancellation" contract. SIAE has, however, put in place on its side specific insurance mechanisms intended to protect the organisation of the show in the event of a major occurrence affecting its holding. Within that framework, exhibitors who have subscribed to the official "Exhibitor Cancellation" programme benefit from a specific articulation with the insurance and contractual arrangements put in place around the show, in order to facilitate, in certain exceptional situations, the activation of refund or coverage mechanisms that may be triggered by the Organiser or its insurers. Each situation is naturally assessed in light of the circumstances, the available cover, and the terms applicable at the time of the claim.

Question 05
Is the risk of a terrorist attack covered?
Yes, under certain conditions.
