The contract is articulated with the insurance arrangements put in place by SIAE around the event. Exhibitors who subscribe to the official solution benefit from a specific articulation with these arrangements.

The insurer confirms your coverage

Coverage takes effect on this date, subject to final confirmation by the insurer. Should the insurer be unable to confirm capacity, all amounts paid will be refunded in full, with no fees or penalties.
14–20 June 2027

You are covered throughout the show

From 14 to 20 June 2027, your participation in the Paris Air Show is protected. Should a covered loss occur, your irrecoverable participation costs will be reimbursed.

Immediate reservation, deferred coverage: this structure protects the insurer from geopolitical risks between today and September 2026, while ensuring that you do not pay for coverage that cannot be provided. If coverage cannot be confirmed, all amounts paid will be refunded in full.

Scope of coverage

All risks except exclusions · presented clearly.

The contract covers irrecoverable participation costs in the event of a covered loss. Some situations remain excluded, and we prefer to set them out plainly.

What is covered

Irrecoverable participation costs (stand, technical services, fittings, transport, logistics)
Additional expenses incurred against supporting documents to prevent or limit a covered loss
Attacks and acts of terrorism in the vicinity of Le Bourget, within the 15 days preceding the show
Instruction by the French government not to admit an exhibitor from a foreign delegation
Unavailability of staff required to operate the stand, or of a key person declared at subscription
Loss, theft or destruction of exhibited equipment preventing participation
Customs blockages and difficulties transporting equipment or personnel
Technological failure or technical incompatibility of the stand
Late changes to the show's conditions (rules, locations, costs)
Serious material or immaterial damage at the exhibitor's company compromising its participation
Unforeseen funding withdrawal through the default of a sponsor or investor
Any other justified cause not excluded

What is not covered

General cancellation of the show by the organiser or public authorities (covered separately by the organiser's policy)
Covid-19, SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV and any of their mutations
Pandemics or epidemics under a public-health emergency declaration (state or WHO)
Cybercriminal acts and cybersecurity incidents
War, in accordance with the applicable contractual conditions
Sanctions, embargoes and applicable legal restrictions

Adhesion to the coverage is registered immediately at subscription and constitutes a reservation. Coverage takes effect from 4 September 2026, subject to final confirmation of capacity by the insurer.

Final confirmation by the insurer

If the insurer confirms its capacity to carry the risk on that date, coverage takes effect in accordance with the contractual conditions through to the end of the show.

What does this insurance cover?

This insurance covers the irrecoverable participation costs engaged for your participation in the Paris Air Show 2027 (SIAE) in the event of cancellation or interruption of your participation arising from an event covered under the contract.
Can a restriction imposed by the French authorities be covered?

Yes, under certain conditions. The contract has been structured so as to be able to respond to certain situations in which an exhibitor would find itself prevented from participating in the show following an administrative decision, a governmental restriction, an instruction issued by the French authorities, or a measure affecting the participation of exhibitors of certain nationalities. Each situation is analysed individually in light of the exact circumstances, the administrative decisions concerned, and the applicable contractual terms. General decisions to cancel the show remain subject to the specific mechanisms put in place around the Organiser's framework and the show's insurance arrangements.
When does the insurance cover take effect?

Enrolment initially constitutes a reservation of cover. Cover will take effect on 4 September 2026, subject to final confirmation of capacity by the insurer.
Is there a deductible?

No. The contract applies with no deductible. This absence of any deductible is a material advantage of the programme.
How do I subscribe?

Enrolment can be completed online, by email, or with the support of the VAX CONSEILS teams. A registration confirmation is sent once the dossier has been validated.
